Pinot's Palette Collaborative Mural for Maplewood Field House

Join our FUNdraiser as we

sip, paint, and create a beautiful collaborative mural to hang in the new Maplewood Park Field house!   

Inspired by the historic work of Lottie Reiniger, the Chicago Park District Seal, and our own MLFPAC logo, this collaborative installation is a unique way to celebrate our new field house and the city we love.  

Every participant will have their own unique "paint by number style" canvas to paint, which will later be assembled as a whole to create the complete mural for the neighborhood to enjoy.

Earth Day Clean and Green with Friends of the Parks + Chicago Park District

Earth Day CLEAN and GREEN

Saturday, April 27, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

At Lucy Flower Park, 2554 W. Moffat

A hands-on way to demonstrate stewardship, this family-friendly event is fun, easy, and even has treats! Volunteers may work in Lucy Flower or Maplewood’s* gardens OR sign out a block to clean on our West Bucktown map. Rubber gloves, trash bags, free mini seed packets, and snack/coffee/waters* provided. This takes 30-45 minutes to complete, so stop in any time between 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. to get started. Come early before special treats disappear!

COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS can be signed for, so bring your teens and their forms!

'Le Taste of France' is an opportunity to discover the many culinary and viticultural flavors of France in one space. Eat your way through the country and sip on wine that pairs perfectly with the food from that region. Put on by the local group French In Chicago (frenchinchicago.com), this unique event is one-of-a-kind and is complete with a VIP Champagne room presented by Veuve Clicquot and an afterparty at a local speakeasy. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

8:00 – 9:00 Set up

9:00 Check in and free play for all ages

10:00 12 and under registered teams game play

11:30 Begin 12+ formal and bracket play

1:30 (approx.) Presentation of award to winners, raffle winners announced, thanks to all sponsors!

The Maplewood and Lucy Flower Park Advisory Council (MLFPAC) in partnership with the West Bucktown Neighborhood Association (WBNA) and @properties cordially invite you to a day of fun, food, and athletics. In addition to Spikeball learning, practice, and play, there will be a bouncy house, hot dogs, music, face painting, raffles, goodie bags and more!

Open to children ages 3+, parents, adults, friends,

neighbors, we will have a morning of fun practice and play for the little ones, and start adult play (ages 12+) at 11:30 a.m.

Meet us at MAPLEWOOD PARK, 1640 N. Maplewood Ave. NO RAIN RESCHEDULE

🟊 WE WANT TO PLAY! Teams are two players against two players and we will help you practice so that you’re ready to play with gusto! $30/team to register

🟊 WE WANT TO SUPPORT! $5 suggested cash donation per person at the registration table, includes access to all items except formal and bracket play.

BYO table, shade, items, you do your own clean up, no restroom on site this year due to construction, so buddy up to a neighbor who lives close by!
